Hi Gals

Have anyone bought branded bags from Madam Milan before? What is the experience? I bought a Gucci Bag from them, thats my first time, but i am not sure how to see if it is real or fake... I asked for the 1st owner receipt, but the lady told me dont have and its about 3 years old the bag i bought.

I bought a Loewe Amazona bag from her last yr. No receipt also....but based on her should b authentic. She roughly told me how to see if it's real & somehow convince me so i buy in the end. I even bring the bag to Loewe boutique to double confirm. Cos the bag i bought is not the common Amazona bag, it's actually the 1st batch of Amazona Bag which Loewe came out with, different from those selling at boutique now.

I went into the shop a few times and the bags that she sells should be reliably authentic although I ve not gotten anything!

@ first i *** of bringing the Gucci bag down boutique and ask them check if it is real or not. But abit crayz right??

Hmmm....i think most designer boutiques dun provide such service to authenticate bags.
For most of the 2nd hand boutiques, i shall say i trust Mdm Milan more, more reliable. I sold one LV bag to her last mth, they manage to sell it in less than 5days!! Amazing....

That's why i did not go down to the boutiques. Well, i feels that Mdm Milan has been in the market for quite sometime, if really they going to cheat people, already there is someone out there has confronted them long ago =)

I think 2nd hand shops should be quite reliable in SG cos if I'm not wrong anyone who wants to start such a shop need to apply for a license at CID. I think if 2nd hand stores sells non-authentic goods it's a criminal offence.

How much commission does Madam Milan take if they sold a bag on your behalf? I know someone will assess the condition of the bag and give a value to it, you can either sell to Madam Milan or leave it there till they sell it for you. I'm just wondering how it works?

For my personal experience .. gucci do not provide such services at the boutique .. but if u are really uncertain and u would wana do a thorough check , they can freight the back to GUCCI. But of cos there will b extra charges .. and if found nt authentic they will distroy the bag ... Certain risk thou ~ =)

not really true thou .. cos i have heard rumours of some shops in far east .. they are selling non-authentic wans .. must be careful .. =)

Hi, I've bought a vintage bag else where and went down to Ferragmo retail store to verify it. I'm sure Gucci does it too =)

It's not crazy to bring down to verify it, at least you would have the peace of mind that you know the bag is real!!
