Ordering bags from online stores-Pls share your experience...

I am considering getting designer bags from online stores such as shopbop.com or zappos.com,which happen to do international shipping.

Has anyone ordereed from these stores before? Please share your experiences.

I'll not recommend expensive designer bags to be bought online.
Brand like LV, Gucci & Coach got too much fakes ards.

I have had some good experiences, and some awful ones. Sometimes bags are damaged or obviously shop worn, sometimes customs in Singapore is a problem, sometimes they get lost... and sometimes they are purrfect!

Its a problem i no longer deal with. Not worth the savings. I rather buy from local online shop or store, not overseas. Returns always a problem from overseas.

You get what you pay for. No such thing as good n cheap! To save $100 can cost you $500

I'm very happy w the svc by yvogue.com. Bought a hand made woven bamboo bag... very unique design, hand painted. Only cost $29.90 + free delivery. Other sizes cost $39 onwards.

I'm wondering if there will be people interested in buying authentic designer bags which costs about a couple hundred off the prices here in singapore through a personal purchaser as opposed to ordering online and shipping over??

I have an experience purchase online, which I will never buy from them again. I found a very nice bag in ebay, and pay by paypal. The bag reach my place about 14 days, I was so happy before open the box, but when I open the box, I found out that the bag is not the one I saw in the site, and it was so dirty. I question the seller, but the seller did not reply me anymore. I file a charge back to paypal, but no payment paid to me, as the seller had credited out and close the account. Now I will not buy online, i choose to go to the store, to have a close look before I purchase.

shopbop is a great store,never had a problem with them,items arrive supper fast,never any damage,great store to deal with.malleries is a great online store,some supper sellers on that site,chanel&more,and chanel touch are great,but plenty of designer bags to choose from,but are most resell,as a consignment store.
