there's plenty of raves for the leather care & garde spray. just wondering if we can find them locally?
websites which carry them:

I heard Apple Garde is highly raved in TPF forums too. Went to DIY shop at marina to search, they only have the scotch guard water repellent for leather - abt SGD $17+
Do count me in if there's a spree![]()
hi guys, have taken note of those interested & deleted the posts to keep this thread neat.
luggage & leather do not ship the garde internationally so our only option will be leatherstuffs.com
this was the reply that i've received from them:
Shipping charges outside the US are $45 USD for up to 4 pounds shipped via USPS Global Priority Mail.
Orders over 4 pounds are calculated on an individual basis.
The 4 oz. Apple Leather Care has 4 ounces of the product in them and weigh 5 oz. total each. According to your email, you are interested in the 5.5 oz. Apple Garde Rain and Stain Repellent and the 4 oz. bottles of Apple Leather Care. Four of the Apple Garde and four of the 4 oz. Apple Leather Care would be the limit for the four pounds. This would have a total cost, including shipping, of $93.00. Please let us know if we can help you.
Thank you,

before i go ahead to start a spree (i will check with them shipping costs for the total number of bottles we are ordering & see whats the most economical way of splitting packages, etc), i was wondering if anyone would be willing to distribute the items? its not convenient for me to get them sent to the office & if i send them to my place, i cannot imagine bringing them out to distribute since i do not have my own transportanyone can offer suggestions on distribution?
dont think mail would be a good option either coz it would probably be heavy & troublesome (not to mention bringing them to the post office would be another headache)
My workplace is near cityhall too, arggh, wish I have a car then I can help transport the items to a central meeting place for all.
Anyone can help duckiee?
I've been eyeing the Apple Leather care too! One way is to let people order through you and do a fund transfer. Then let everyone collect on same day one evening at City Hall area. Those who can't make it, you can mail to them at additional charge, but you'll have to bring to the post office. Anyone else has other ideas?
Are there other leather care products which are also highly recommended for handbags? My bag isn't the expensive, branded kind and I want something which is not too expensive or difficult to get. I found out about Urad/Leather Mate products yesterday http://www.urad-leathermate.com/ and the customer service is great. They ship to all countries. Only problem is I'm not sure how suitable their product is for handbags (or purses as they call it in US). There are a few references the purses, but not many.
Hi, rubic! Welcome to CC! What you suggested is exactly how we usually conduct sprees, but duckiee has already explained the inconveniences of distribution she'll be faced with, and she's basically asking for more people to help out.
There're actually many leather care products readily available in hardware stores, department stores, etc. The question is whether you're willing to take the risk of cross-using these products on your leather bags, esp when they're v expensive leather bags![]()
Thanks for the link, btw. Do drop by at CozyLounge to intro yourself when you can![]()
Thanks, Glossie for the welcome! I got a Fossil bag recently, and it's not exactly designer bag, but it stains easily and it's driving me crazy :p I know there are many leather care products available, like you mentioned, but they are often meant for shoes & furniture, not unfinished leather bags or expensive onesSo I've been 'googling like crazy' for more info, and sending out some emails too :p
I just found a Thai website that sells some Apple Leather products, but I can't read Thai. Perhaps mailing from Thailand will be cheaper?

If I find other alternatives in terms of products or mailing, I'll let you all know!

Eh does anyone know if Apple leather care products can be used on vintage leather? Thanks.
hi cotters,
I'm trying to find Apple Leather Care Kit for my newly bought wallet... It seems hard to buy them online... so sad... Any new spree?![]()
Hi Jov, should there be an official spree, you would need to meet our criteria. Please take any private sprees offline. No soliciting for private sprees, either. Thanks for observing the forum's rules.
I tried the repellent spray and moisturizer.
My colleague commented my bag looks more black (after the repellent spray).
Just moisturized my baby last night and it even more black and looks so healthy without being too shiny!!
I am loving it
Not too sure if this is allowed but I don't mind doing the coordination. I can get the loot to be sent to my office @ Gateway (Near Bugis MRT) and the distribution can be carried out at the lobby of my office at a specific timing and date.
The leather conditioner is great for taking out scratchesI applied some on two very obvious scratches on one of my bags, and voila, gone!
apparently not in SG , as what i know
try leatherstuff.com![]()
