White bag maintenance

HI ladies,

Just bought a white Deerskin Prada bag - am wondering how i can care for it or even protect it before my first use! Anyone can advice?

With the SAs in HK recommending Bally translucent cream - i bought it but was told not to use on Deerskin esp. light coloured ones as they absorb into the leather really really fast - but 1 of the SA says it's fine while another says better not.

Anyone can tell me what to do? TIA!!!

hi pinkceline,

for my suede coach bags - i use a small brush to brush off the dirt - that's what the SA asked me to do. The brish that came with one of my bags is a small shoe-brush like thingy with hard bristles.

For leather ones, u can use the appropriate leather cream depending on the skin - that's what the SA told me. Calf leather is easiest to clean. just rub with cream can ****.

The fabric ones - u probably have to send it for dry cleaning... Hope that helps.
