I'm in love with vintage bags and am in the midst of collecting them. Any cotters out there who also share the same love for vintage bags? The only few places that I know of which sell vintage stuff are Eclectic Attic, Granny's Day Out, the Oppt shop and flea markets. Are there any other places where I can score some good vintage bags at reasonable prices?![]()
Try the thrift shops in Salvation Army. My friends and I managed to find some really cool and anthentic vintage bags and clothes at the Salvation Army in Outram Road. Best part is they cost less than $5!
Hmmz.. how about this webbie? http://dustbunnyvintage.com

hi cotters!
just wondering who is into vintage designer bags and why. of coz as much as i would like to buy brand new, i just cant always afford them, and feeling heart pain when it gets abit damaged etc.
and is e-bay the only way to get vintage stuff? any recommendation? feel free to talk!![]()
actually i have so many vintage designer bag but i hardly carry them because it seems so 'out of fashion' and outdated. I spent tons on them in those days, heart pain cant throw away too..which is why i seldom buy branded bags nowadays.
search through sungei road! they have TONS of vintage bags and they only need cleaning up. best part is that you can bargain the prices down and the vintage bag that ive gotten from there only costs $2!
victoria jomo!!
can be found in 9 haji lane
erm... please educate me. What's the difference between vintage and used?
If I'm not wrong, vintage means articles from 1980's and earlier. Vintage items are usually used. And used items might be from the newer eras or before, so vintage is actually considered a subset of used. Do correct me if that's not right!
I've been to Salvation Army to look for vintage stuff before but I fancy that they're kinda expensive. I went to the Upp Bukit Timah one and spotted a really nice vintage bag going at $40! Exorbitant!
