I'm in the process of organizing all the handbags that i own. Currently, they are all messily chucked on an un-used 3 tier bookshelf and it's not the best way to store my bags. Rather, it looks messy and isn't organized. Is there any way i can store my handbags in such a way that they are easily accessible, and i can see all of them at once? So when i'm in a hurry i can quickly take a glance and grab whichever bag that goes with my outfit?
Share with me how you store your bags!
im comtemplating to put lotsa hooks (like those 3M ones) on my wall, and hang all my bags on it. but have yet to get down to get. it'll just look like a shop selling bags..
yea i think if space allows, the best way will be to have shelves with glass panels to "display" the bags, in this way the bags won't be squashed out of shape.
now i don't have enough space and put my handbags inside their dust bags, then store away in drawers under the bed...
reviving this thread! Anyone care to share pictures & ideas of how you store & orgranise your bags?
Nowadays my bags are just lying on the floor cos I'm too lazy to store them properly
I'm thinking of getting a shelf from Ikea, with 'shower-curtain'. Plus some various sized boxes to store my bags. Take a polaroid of each bag and stick it outside the box. Can arrange the bags by size, brand or color (haven't decided). Hopefully the curtain will keep out dust etc.
Gals u think it's feasible?
i just stuffed them all in a storage box since i don't have much space to display them nicely...
Sounds like a whole load of fun, Cheechee. Maybe will work only half the time, if you can keep up the energyMaybe you can sort by occasion instead of size? Much depends on your personal habit, too, IMO. Display racks fahsion to look exactly like a LV or Gucci boutique would be lovely (in our dreams). At the rate girls shops, we need another HOUSE to store bags alone

dont store your bags by hanging on hooks. it causes a perpetual strain on the bag.
ALWAYS keep the stuffing in the bags when you store them.
and you should store your bags in the dust bag that comes with it so as to keep out the dust (as the name implies).
dont squash them in a drawer as that will damage the structure of the bag and affect the leather as well.
best is to keep your bags on shelves with ample space between the highest point of the bags and the "ceiling" of the shelf so that the bag is not squashed. using a "curtain" to keep out the dust is a good idea. best will be like what is mentioned to have a glass display case so that you can see the bags clearly.
mine are all in the dust bags with the stuffings in them on shelves inside wardrobe to keep out the dustand in the wardrobe, i have packets of silica gel to absort humidity. this is to ensure that they remain in mint condition.
Dear all,
Would like to asked how you keep your precious bags? I always put my bags on the floor as I don't want my husband to put the bags in the drawers and stack them up.
So, is there any ways that I can hang them up? Or proper way to keep them?

I stack those cheaper ones, that I bought from FEP or online.
But those branded ones, I put them in their respective anti-dust bags and them store them in my cupboard.

Welcome to CC, MdmQueenWhat's the nick of your sister? Just curious, you needn't reveal
The Purse Forum would have loads of pictures on how girls store their bags, shoes, clothes, etc. I think many of us share the common challenge of the lack of space![]()
i need storage ideas too. I can't afford another cupboard in my room -.-'
And i haf no place for my bags...(usually hang them or put them on the floor)
If i store them in dust bags, most likely I'll forget abt them too.
Gaa...
and i keep buying. -.-'
i bought a 'book shelf' from IKEA, which costs 29bucks andd shelf the more expensive bags there. take a picture of it tonight and post it.
use to throw them into the closet and it gets those ugly little marks.
I also use Ikea aneboda series to keep shoes and bags.
I keep my bags in their dust bags, filled with silk paper fillers or thick fluffy pashminas to keep their shape.
