umbrellas! Do you go for branded ones?

dunno whether you guys consider umbrellas as accessories but do you, singaporeans mainly, use an umbrella often? and generally how much will you spend on one?

Branded umbrellas.! Not for me as I've the tendency of placing it somewhere and forgot to take.
The most I would spent on an umbrella, no more than $30.

i will not go for branded umbrellas. as long the umbrellas can serve its functions well n with UV protection, any kinds will do. but i do prefer those light-weighted.
branded or not branded at the end of the day is just umbrella to shield us from hot weather n rainy days.

i saw one beautiful black lace umbrella from Fie Japan, it's light weight, the price is $72, still contemplating whether i should buy, likely not cos i feel it's too ex

haha i don't usually use umbrellas but i saw this ysl one online that's going for SGD20 so i thought no harm lugging SOME extra weight around. hehe

20 bucks only! i think even esprit costs more than that!

i get my umbrellas from Taiwan, its ard $13 - $15 . they have a lot of nice designs.

current one i am using have lace around it and they have nice buttons. Xi men ding sells really nice ones.

haha yah.. i 'll get for my gfs too cos they cant find it in SG , and everyone's asking where i get my umbrellas from.

for a price of below $20 , i find that it is good pressies for my gfs.

I like those from Fie Japan too! but very exp... i've one from agnes b.. is a free gift.. won't spend so much for an umbrella... light weight umbrella can be quite a hassle esp during days when the wind is strong.

I use to give perfumes and shoes as gifts, but I always make sure that I take 50 cents from the receiver; so like, the person is "buying" the gift from me for 50 cents.

Will that "cancel" away the supersition? mmm..

I love to buy umbrellas from Shanghai, and use to match my outfit with umbrellas too

But over the years, I got tired of it cause some are not good quality and rusted. So I just buy a good one with UV protection and use it every time
