What do you guys think of Shutter Shades?

You know the crazy ones that Kanye made famous?

It's such a fad now everyone has em... (I'm guilty too but just cos it was a night out and some man was selling the white ones which are glow in the dark too! And I bought mine wayyyy before...)

But well now they have them in so many colours, shutters going left, right up and down and horizontal and diagonal. Heart shaped shutter shades. Everything!

Well what do you think of em?
    Passing fad... or?

To pose for the camera in them, I guess it's kinda quirky and okay.
But, to be walking around in those shades, that's kinda weird, IMO. How can you see the ground, walking in them anyway?

I say whatever floats your boat, man. Including tripping and falling over yourself if the shutters really obstruct your view?

kind devil: i think those shades are only for modeling purposes. don't think they serve any other purposes. those attraction seekers/fashionists may wear them on the streets.
there are people who wear shades and glasses(zero degree) for tendy/fashion reasons.

honestly, i think it looks kinda weird. like mentioned, if its just for photo taking purposes, then its fine but if to wear walking down the street, i think its really weird and totally serve no purpose and i dont think it can serve as a shades.

Feels the same way too. Not useful and doesn't look nice. Just like those big pair of spects that hipsters are wearing which look really really off and not nice at all. Even themselves do not feel comfortable from wearing them judging from their expressions. Just don follow trends blindly, IMO.

The shutter shades are very quirky. GREAT for taking silly photos and looking silly. BUT it'll be really wierd to wear it on the streets. Doesn't seem to serve any purpose after all...

it actually doesnt obstruct your view. hahha.
i got 3 pairs for free cause i bought some shades in bulk. its pretty fun when you go for parties and clubbing. but i guess wearing it under the sun is not tt practical.

I DONT WANT TO GET TAN LINES. hahahaha.

It is not something I would wear out.
Quirky & interesting but not for the normal folk on the street.

imagine the wearer wears it on a sunny day and got a sun tanned on the face, we can see the horizontal lines on the eyes area!

^^ haha!!! i never thought of that. i thought these shutter shades should be classified under props for clowns rather than an accessory. to begin with, they do not beautify us to be catergories as an accessory.
