This might be a weird question...but does anyone here like to wear flowers in their hair? (real or fake).
I love this look, but am having a hard time finding flowers for the hair. I like to put the flower just above my ear..(not those hair ties with flowers attached)....does anyone know where i can get nice flower clips? Like bobby pins with a flower attached. Not too big, not too small. I guess like the size of a frangipani or so...
When i get the chance, i do try and use real flowers..but that's often difficult because i don't live around any flowering trees besides bouganvillias! lol.
I saw some flower hair clips in Holland Village..but they didn't have the colours i wanted.
TIA![]()
I don't wear them but would love to see more do it!Perhaps you could consider DIY'd fake flowers with plain clips? I'm clueless about such, though. Just something I thought up as I was typing this post.
I love the look too!But have not seen any flower clips/pins I like so far, only have those rubber bands with a big fake flower glued onto it, which I don't use a lot.
i think can try using hairpin to clip them onto hair. otherwise will drop
i think i saw flower hair clips in accessorize at raffles city.
nicenice!!
i want to try too.. get the flower clip!! but not sure how to clip it.. hehe..
dont want to clip like aunty!
I want to get a hair tie with a flower but it seems to be pretty expensive. Saw some at Livia and some other random stores but they're at least $10 a pop.
i bought many flower clips (small & big) yrs ago fr bangkok, cheap.
in fact, those selling on the push cart r mostly fr thailand.
you could try places like tangs, isetan and takashimaya for things like that. i got a very nice black hair tie from tangs, but a few years ago. they usually have nice stuff.
Oh i've looked in taka and tangs, but i haven't seen any flower *clips*. In fact, in the pashima section, i saw a beautiful orchid pin/clip which was pinned onto pashima and i was like oooh do you sell the flower pin? haha and the SA just looked at me all funny.
I'm not looking for a hair tie with a flower on it...but a flower clip that i can clip behind my ear...
If anyone sees any, please let me know where!I can imagine bangkok would have such things..too bad i'm not going there. In Australia, there's tons of places that sell flower clips.
I saw a shop in Plaza Sing that sells many varieties of flower hair slips.. perhaps you can pop by to see... it is at lvl 1 in front of carrefour..
There are definitely flower clips in accessorize - they're about $10 and up though.
ME ME ME!! I love wearing flowers in my hair for that beach girl look or sometimes at night for that mamasita look. I think more ladies should brave the crowd with just being confident enough that you can pull the look. i would think it would just look fabulous!!!![]()
hey!! this is an interesting thread!
I love this look too..its so girly and all... but i guess in SG, even the bravest wear the smallest and simplest of flowers.. but this look can be really nice with a huge flower even!!
(think its too hot here to wear a real flower.. probably it'll wilt in 10 mins or something..)
I just came back from Taiwan few weeks ago, i asked this girl if she allowed me to take her photo and she posed for me!! Look!! she's so prettyyy...(i bought quite a lot of earrings from her!! and the one she's wearing too..keys & the ribbon!!)
Some other examples on how to wear flowers in your hair..
